INKspire Summit gathers the best social entrepreneurs and community leaders together to share their knowledge on digital literacy and their relevance in today’s digital age.

Interact and engage with speakers while they talk about their experiences working with digital technology, solving real-world challenges in the digital age, and current technological trends. It’s a great opportunity to network with peers and improve your knowledge of digital literacy.

10:00 -10:30 AM

Registration / Icebreaker

Check-in with our team, bring your ticket and we’ll assist you in finding a spot. You’ll have some time to chat, introduce yourself and make some friends.

Keynote Speaker

Our guest speaker for the day will give a presentation on the importance of digital literacy, new trends, and technologies available to facilitate human interaction.

11:00 - 12:00 PM

Hacking Commences

Attendees will be placed into groups and assigned to one INKspire lead member. Each group will receive a case study on digital literacy. You are encouraged to participate and exchange ideas with your team members.

12:00 - 1:00 PM

Lunch Time!

Brief-time to enjoy our refreshments, take a nap or grab a coffee. Attendees that wish to continue working on the case study with their groups are welcome to do so during lunchtime.

1:00 - 3:00 PM

Hacking (Continuation)

Time for discussing the case study with your group, wrapping up ideas & conclusions, and prepare a short presentation.

3:00 - 4:00 PM

Presentations (5 mins/group)

Each group will have 5 minutes to present their solution to the case proposed. All attendees are highly encouraged to participate.

4:00 - 4:30 PM

Awards / Closing

Presentations would be evaluated by a panel of INKspire judges who will provide feedback. Prizes for the groups that place first, second and third place would be given.

Who is eligible to participate?

The event is open to any post-secondary students or recent graduates from any field of study who is interested in learning about digital literacy.

Can I sign up with a team?

We allow team sign-ups of up to 5 people. All team members must sign up individually and specify the other team members on their application. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry, you will be assigned to a group during the event 

What do you need to bring?

Bring a printed or digital copy of your ticket, a lot of energy and a desire to learn!
